Terms of sale
These terms apply to hardware bought through this store and to QuickComm Cloud subscriptions taken alongside it.
1. Who you are buying from
Quickgen Technologies, in5 Tech, Dubai Design District, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"). Placing an order through this store forms a contract between you and Quickgen Technologies.
2. Orders and acceptance
An order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm the order by email with an order reference. We may decline an order — for example if a unit is out of stock, if pricing was displayed in error, or if we cannot confirm radio compatibility for a Bridge Node order. Nothing is charged on a declined order.
3. Prices and payment
- All prices are in US dollars and exclude duties and destination taxes.
- Volume discounts are applied automatically per product line at the tiers shown on the product page.
- UAE orders are billed 5% VAT. Exports out of the UAE are zero-rated.
- Payment is by bank transfer or against a proforma invoice on net 15 terms.
- Title in the goods passes on payment in full. Risk passes on delivery.
4. Delivery
Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. We ship DAP; import duties and customs clearance at the destination are yours. See the shipping page for rates and lead times.
5. QuickComm Cloud
- Billed at $50 per active channel per month, one channel per device.
- The first 30 days from device activation are included with a hardware order.
- Billed monthly in advance thereafter. Cancel at any time; unused whole months are refunded.
- The subscription is optional. Hardware can be bought on its own and pointed at your own backend; in that case QuickComm Cloud features are simply not provided, and support covers the hardware rather than your application.
6. Warranty and returns
Hardware carries a 12-month limited warranty. Unopened units may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Full terms are on the warranty and returns pages, which form part of these terms.
7. Acceptable use
These devices record voice. You are responsible for deploying them lawfully — including giving notice to recorded staff and obtaining any consent that applies where you operate. We provide the tooling; the legal basis for recording on your site is yours.
8. Liability
Our total liability arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or loss of data, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Intellectual property
Buying a device grants you the right to use it with QuickComm Cloud. It does not transfer any rights in QuickComm firmware, the udp-v1 protocol, the platform, or any pending or granted patents.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
These terms are a plain-language starting point drafted for this store. Have them reviewed by counsel qualified in the UAE before you launch.
