Payments, refunds & disputes
How you are charged, how refunds work, and what to do if something looks wrong on your statement.
How you pay
- Card payments are processed by STRABL Tech FZ LLC, a licensed payment provider in Dubai. Card details are entered in STRABL's own secure window and never reach QuickComm's servers or staff.
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Bank transfer and invoice are available at checkout as alternatives.
- All prices are shown and charged in US dollars. Your bank may apply its own conversion rate and a foreign-transaction fee, which we neither set nor receive.
- UAE orders are billed 5% VAT. Orders shipped outside the UAE are zero-rated for VAT, but you may owe duties or import taxes on arrival.
When you are charged
Your card is charged once, in full, when you complete checkout. We do not store your card number and cannot charge it again without you starting a new order. Your order is only confirmed once our payment provider tells us the payment settled — if you see a confirmation page but no email within an hour, contact us before assuming either.
A failed payment sometimes leaves a temporary authorisation hold on your account. That is your bank holding the amount, not a charge by us, and it is released automatically — usually within a few working days.
Statement descriptor
Charges appear on your statement as QUICKGEN TECHNOLOGIES or STRABL, not as “QuickComm”. If you are checking an unfamiliar line on your statement, that is the most common explanation.
Cancellations
You can cancel any order that has not yet shipped, at no cost, by emailing support@quickcomm.ae with your order reference. We refund the full amount, including any shipping you paid.
Once an order has shipped it is handled under our returns policy instead.
Refunds
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method. We cannot send a refund to a different card or account.
- We process approved refunds within 3 working days. Your bank then takes its own time to show it — typically 5 to 10 working days, and longer for international cards.
- Partial refunds are possible where only part of an order is returned or where a delivery charge is refundable.
- Where a return is due to a fault on our side, we refund the outbound shipping too.
If a charge looks wrong: talk to us first
If you do not recognise a charge, or think you have been charged the wrong amount, email support@quickcomm.ae with your order reference and the amount. We aim to reply within one working day and can usually resolve it the same day.
Raising a chargeback with your bank before contacting us is slower for you, not faster. A chargeback typically takes 6 to 12 weeks to resolve, freezes the order while it runs, and prevents us from simply refunding you in the meantime. We would rather just fix it.
How we handle disputes
Where a chargeback is raised, we respond with the evidence we hold: the order record, the payment authorisation, delivery confirmation and carrier tracking, the delivery address given at checkout, and any correspondence about the order. We keep these records for seven years.
We contest disputes we believe to be mistaken, including where goods were delivered as ordered. Where a dispute is well founded we accept it and refund without argument.
Fraud and unauthorised use
If you believe your card has been used on this store without your permission, contact your bank first — they can stop the card — and then tell us at support@quickcomm.ae so we can hold the order before it ships. We may ask for proof of identity before releasing or refunding an order where fraud is suspected.
Circumstances outside our control
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including component shortages, carrier or customs delays, payment-provider outages, natural events, or changes in law affecting the sale or export of the goods. Where such an event prevents us delivering, we will tell you and refund in full.
Your responsibilities
You agree to give accurate billing and delivery details, to use a payment method you are authorised to use, and to use the devices lawfully — including obtaining any consent required where you live before recording another person. You agree to indemnify QuickComm against claims arising from your unlawful use of the devices or from details you supplied being wrong.
See acceptable use for what the devices may and may not be used for, and terms of sale for the full contract.
Questions
